Korean War Veteran, Parsippany Man Dies at 85

Mathew Dedoussis is survived by three children and nine grandchildren.

A Parsippany man and war veteran died recently at the age of 85.

Mathew Dedoussis was born and raised in Newark, then lived in East Orange before settling in Parsippany, according to his obituary.

Dedoussis served in the United States Army during the Korean War and honorably discharged before starting his professional career.

Dedoussis was the longtime restaurant manager of the Suburban Cocktail Lounge in East Orange before becoming a salesman for the AAA Auto Club in Florham Park for 15 years prior to retirement

Dedoussis is survived by a son and two daughters, and nine grandchildren.
