Lake Hiawatha Resident of 50 Years Dies at 87

Marcelle Cecile Meyer spent 50 years living in Lake Hiawatha.

At the age of 87, she passed away at her home in town recently.

Meyer was born in Epernay, France, and came to the United States in 1947. She made Lake Hiawatha her home for good in 1964., according to her obituary. 

Meyer was a parishioner at St. Christopher Roman Catholic Church in Parsippany. She is predeceased by her husband Helmuth, who died in 1984.

Meyer is survived by three children, two sisters, and two grandchildren.
