Parsippany Native, Father of 3, 'Adventurer' Dies at 52

Evan Earl spent the first 30 years of his life in Parsippany.

Before moving to New Mexico, Earl Evan grew up in Parsippany, spending the first 30 years of his life here.

Evan died at a hospital surrounded by his family in the southwestern state on April 30 at the age of 52.

Evan moved to New Mexico in 1992 with his wife, Tina. She fell in love with his wild spirit and knew life would always be exciting with him. Earl was an optimist and always pursued adventure.

Whether he was on his mountain bike, skis, motorcycle or in his 1956 International, Earl rode forward in life, bringing happiness wherever he went.

Evan is survived by his wife of 22 years, three daughters: McKenna, Victoria, and Eliza, all of whom are missing their husband and father but continuing on just as he’d like them to – smiling and adventuring.

An outdoor memorial will be held at a future date.
