An Open Letter to the Voters of Parsippany

Dear Parsippany-Troy Hills Voter,
On Monday, October 14, 2013, the Par-Troy Council of PTA's is moderating Candidate's Night for potential Board of Education members.  This event is an open forum for voters to question candidates and hear how they intend to serve the educational needs of our community if elected.

The Board of Education is a 100% volunteer and nonpartisan group of elected officials vital to the quality of life in Parsippany. Overseeing annual education expenditures of over $125 million, the board is directly responsible for setting long term goals, approving an annual budget, monitoring academic performance and maintaining a positive educational and developmental environment for our 7,250 students.  With the complexity of issues and opportunities present in education, this forum will help voters make an informed choice on November 5.

We, the undersigned candidates, encourage you to attend Candidate's Night on Monday, October 14, at Parsippany Hills High School at 7pm, confident it will include a diversity of opinions from the candidates.

Sincerely,
Tim Berrios

Joe Cistaro
