NJ Palisades Needs Support

The New Jersey National Natural Landmark of the Palisades is in immediate danger from Corporate developers and obviously morally lacking Municipal Officials of Englewood Cliffs. The planned LG Electronics USA headquarters "threatens the nationally significant, historic scenic integrity of the Palisades in a major way."

"If built, this tower will introduce a massive incompatible feature that will be visible for miles along the river and from vantage points along the west side of Manhattan as well as from the bridge," Jarvis said. "Given the size of the property in question, it seems entirely possible for the development to achieve its needs and conform to the borough's existing zoning regulations."

Time for some real Homeland Defense. Again the Governor is silent.

This is a crime in the making More Office Space and on the Palisades a National Natural Landmark..Let us take it a step further, if we see our Palisades and the Hudson in its beauty and historical context as a Physiographic Province in its entirety, we continue the Hudson to West Point US Military Academy. This Office Complex disgraces the United States and its Army by degrading the very landscape of the American Revolution and the Nations Birth.

It happened to the Great Notch of the Watchung now its the great empty office building; instead of Washington's Lookout. ( the huge ugly office space where Route 3 & 46 meet).

Corporations are going too far in destroying our common landscape heritage..

. Where is Governor Christie's Voice?  If he can't stop this we don't need him to go any further.
