Plastic Plague Encompasses Earth. America the Trash Dump.

This photo of an albatross chicks was taken in September 2009 on Midway Atoll, a tiny stretch of sand and coral near the middle of the North Pacific. To document this phenomenon as faithfully as possible, not a single piece of plastic in this photograph was moved, placed, manipulated, arranged or altered in any way.   This is what we export to other Countries in the world, if we the great Americans can't handle it, our trash, well then surely they can not either, but the free market marches on. Too much material and no spiritual sense of its value or lack there of, the whole world becomes a giant trash pit.
  HOW & WHY ARE WE SO BLIND TO OUR CONSUMERISM AND LACK OF RESPONSIBILITY TOWARD OUR PLANETS BEAUTY & HEALTH? PLASTIC IS A PLAGUE. NAME ONE PLACE THAT IS NOT TOUCHED SCARED DEGRADED BY THIS CORPORATE PETROLEUM BY-PRODUCT. ONLY PROPAGANDA ALLOWS US TO BE BLIND TO THIS CRIME, BOTH CORPORATE AND INDIVIDUAL. AMERICANS NO LONGER KNOW THE MEANING OF CLEAN. HOW LONG WILL THIS MASS DENIAL CONTINUE? 
 When all this snow melts and releases its contents of littered trash into our storm drains rivers and landscapes will anyone feel responsible? Ask; why don't political leaders address this issue? We are a people, insensitive, uncaring, self centered. Freedom is freedom to do or behave is a manner that allows this, because if your making money, what can be wrong in the world. We are a fallen people who practice false pride. At the very least our electricity should be generated by state of the art trash incinerators and our landscapes policed and cleaned by a hired labor force; however the private interest which have hijacked our government will have none of it, "god bless america"
 We compensate for our political disenfranchisement by consumption choices most of which are not good for us or the world we live in,which becomes an innocent victim of  our uncaring ways.  Is this what our Flag Stands for? Apparently so. Too much freedom, not enough responsibility, mass denial. Who loves their country, in action, not words? No one.
