Can't help to think the IBEW is in violation of some NLRB ( National Labor Relations Board) charter rules in that they are involved in matters not directly concerning the Union; a grievance for example. These show up actions that suddenly appeared from Union Member presence may very spell corruption created by political contributions. They are way out of their field. The most likely pay for the attendance some small amount, or use apprenticeship members to go or suffer some action..
