Honestly could not understand a word the Mayor was "mumbling" last night about how the Attorney John Inglesino is 'saving the taxpayers money'. Waterview anyone? The Mayor, and his orchestra, the Planning Board and John Inglesino advanced RD's scheme more than anyone,allowing RD extreme latitude in their terrible presentations, and disrespect toward the community. Perhaps they should receive pay reductions for their leading us into this mess. In addition the Group Citizens 4SHW is also spending their money doing what our officials should of been doing.
Seems like certain parties are playing crisis & resolution games to appear that they are working harder than they really are; "saving tax payers" from litigation's that should never have began or could of be easily resolved from the start. Break something, then fix it, and claim credit. Saving money still costs, not as much perhaps, but its wasted resources that could be used for other purposes. Lawyers clean-up.
American taxpayers never get what they pay for is a system of waste and fear. According to GPI, Genuine Progress Indicator, not GDP Gross Domestic Product, we are no better off in 2014 then we were in 1970. The threshold beyond which growth no longer improves the quality of life has been reached, some time ago. GDP is the 1% GPI the 99%. We played a method of economic progress beyond its limits. Time for the Common Good to replace individual rights. The 1% have proven themselves to be defective in human values.
