Waterview RDR Threat Letter Reminder

Letter March 18. 2013..RDR to Township Attorney  Thus, RDR determined to deliver a development that precisely fits the profile which it assumed that the Township and adjoining neighbors would have hoped to achieve.  Frankly, while RDR recognizes that any proposal will face some resident opposition, it believes that this is the best development option for the Township and the regional area, one which will have significant tax benefits to the municipality and provide extremely desirable services to the region".   Speculation, conjecture, hearsay at best. Disingenuous  This is all that our Administration is requiring from RDR; this letter.  .
They have been advanced and encouraged at every step without having to demonstrate why "our contentions about them are sound"; they do not have the community's best interest in mind! This is an environmental integrity issue and American Landscape issue. RDR has picked the wrong place and the wrong site location. This issue IS NOT about jobs but about keeping our sense of place and home. As a former Union Shop Stewart I found this pleading for jobs, last night August 21, 2013 ,blaming a community for their troubles pathetic.
RDR from same letter dated March 18 2013, quote; "would be extremely profitable"  Yes; perhaps unreasonably so for them. It  surely will be our loss. We can not wait for the DEP; this assurance from the Town is merely passing the buck, by the time it gets to DEP its too late. Despite not advancing their argument in the background of ecology and environment; especially water quality and pollution and the fact that this should be considered "impractical overdevelopment"because of the already developed and now "dead space" or brown Zones that already exist in Town. If RDR was so benevolent why don't they create work here? They are not community mined but speculators in a Market that has caused havoc in this nation. RDR WE DON"T WANT YOU. and by the way, we have a FARMERS MARKET HERE IN TOWN, No reason then for Whole Foods!!    The moment RDR did not have proper presentation, like contoured maps showing slope and wetland boundaries and could not or would not answer questions that their supposed expert was there for at previous meetings, they should have been dismissed by the Township. Why was the communities witness from the Passaic River Coalition not allowed to speak?.Or is Parsipanny under this administration really RDR in disguise?
