What Parsippany Roads Need Repairs, Other Changes?

Have some ideas to better Parsippany? So do these residents.

We always hear about road projects in town to fix potholes, repave, or do other much-needed repair work throughout the township—but are the roads you hate getting that attention?

This week, we asked residents what roads they feel should be repaired or are in need of changes to speed limits and other aspects. Opinions were varied, although a few focused on sections of Route 46.

Every day this week, we will bring you an opinion from another resident.

That is a state highway, not the township....

The Sedgefield development off Route 202 is in dire need of repaving, storm sewers and curbing. There is nothing left to patch as the pavement is just crumbling. When it rains, the water flows downhill like a river, taking the pavement with it. It is hazardous to even take a walk or a bicycle ride for fear of falling in a hole.

PLEASE repair Greenbank Road over by Knoll Country Club. There are holes that we could swim in this summer. In addition, the side of the road is literally gone - it has become a ditch and there is a huge build-up of gravel that is all over the road. It's an important road, because it provides access to our golf course facilities and we want to present an image that makes people want to golf there (more $ for the town!), it is so close to many Parsippany public facilities like the senior center, Activity Center, etc., and it's just in terrible shape.
