Day 1 of the Morris County Championship proved to be a record setting day at Boonton.
Starting off the meet in the 400m hurdles, Malik Francis took 6th place with a time of 58.02.

In the 100m dash, Bria Saunders broke her previous meet record of 12.09 from last year with a personal best of 11.93 (#2 in NJ this season) in the semis than followed it up with a 11.96 in the final. Congratulations to Bria for breaking the 12 second barrier and an impressive 3 straight 100m titles! For the 100m Boys, sophomore Anderson Olave finished 5th in 11.56. Anderson is having a good first track season.

In the 1600m run, several Red Hawks posted personal best. Ally Schlosser ran personal best of 5:15.59. While 3 boys posted personal best as well…Bhargav Tarpara 4:33.25, Steven Patracuolla – 4:57.15 and Ronald Tudorache – 4:59.67.
Off the Track, Junior Dan Campbell finished 3rd in the Javelin with mark of 178-00!
