Red Hawks Underclassmen Strike Gold Twice at Fr-So Championships
Monday, our Red Hawks Underclassmen had the opportunity to lined up against their respective graduating class at the Annual Freshmen-Sophomore Championship held at Drew University. For the Lady Red Hawks, promising freshmen Haley Pignatelli took home 2 gold medals with wins in the 1600m run in 5:35.32 and 1000m run in 3:19.14. While Sensational Sophomore Ally Schlosser led the way with 2 gold medals with wins in the 1600m run in 5:28.89 and 1000m run in 3:13.22. Ally also anchored the 2nd place 4x400m relay that nearly pulled off the win in 4:28.98 On the boys side, Freshmen speedster Kwaku Agyemang had top 6 finishes in the 55m dash in 7.27 and 300m dash in 41.34. The boys 4x400m relay ended the meet with a 4th place finish in 4:02.41.
