2 Facing Charges in 2011 Boonton Murder Face Judge Monday

Nazish Noorani's husband and his alleged accomplice face murder, conspiracy and weapons charges in connection with her murder last August.

The Morris County Prosecutor's Office says the will be arraigned at the Morris County Courthouse Monday.

Kashif Parvaiz, 26, the husband of 27-year-old Noorani, and alleged co-conspirator Antoinette Stephen face murder, conspiracy and weapons charges in what investigators allege was a .

Morris County Prosecutor Robert A. Bianchi last year called this case a "twisted tale" that is "more egregious, sociopathic and narcisstic than any I've seen in my 23-year career."

Officials said Stephen gunned down Noorani late last Aug. 16 as she and Parvaiz walked along Cedar Street in Boonton while pushing their 3-year-old son in a stroller. Stephen is alleged to have shot Noorani and then to have turned the gun on Parvaiz to make him appear to be a victim as well.

The couple's son was unharmed.

At the time of the killing, , telling authorities that he and his wife were shot by three men who shouted anti-Muslim slurs at them.

Parvaiz, of Brooklyn, N.Y., is being held on $3 million bond. Stephen, of Billerica, Mass., is being held on $5 million bond.

The arraignment on the will be heard by Judge Robert J. Gilson at the Morris County Courthouse, according to prosecutor's office spokesperson Capt. Jeffrey Paul.

Assistant Prosecutor Matthew Troiano will represent the state in the matter, said Paul.
