Accident on I-287 Causes Minor Traffic Delays

A Sunday morning car accident on Interstate 287 North left one car mangled and caused some traffic delays.

The State Police, along with the Parsippany Volunteer Ambulance Squad,  responded to the accident sometime before noon, after an SUV apparently crashed into a guard rail on the northbound side of 287 near exit 80.

The cause of the accident and extent of injuries sustained is not yet known.
