$3K in Items Stolen in Apartment Burglary

The resident was gone for three weeks when his TV and other items were stolen.

After three weeks of being away, a Tivoli Gardens resident returned home Saturday to find his apartment burglarized.

The incident happened sometime between Oct. 26 to Nov. 16.

The man told Patrol Officer Marcin Czajka that he noticed forced entry to the back door. The resident said a 55-inch Samsung television and a gold necklace were stolen, a total combined value of $3,000, police said.

The Morris County Sherriff’s Department’s Criminal Investigative Division and the Parsippany Police Departments Investigative Division arrived to investigate, according to a release from Officer Remo D’Alessandro.
