Burglary Probed at Baldwin Pizzeria

Entry gained through restaurant's roof, money stolen from cash register, police said.

Parsippany Police are investigating a weekend burglary at Baldwin Pizzeria near Route 46.

According to a police statement, entry into the restaurant at 142 Baldwin Road was gained through the roof and a small sum on money was stolen from the cash register sometime between 10:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday morning.

"An employee reported finding the front door unlocked and discovered that a portion of the establishment’s drop ceiling had been broken through," Sgt. Yvonne Christiano said.

Parsippany detectives and members of the Criminal Investigative Section responded to process the crime scene, she added.
