Bust Turns Up Crack Cocaine, Oxycodone Pills

Three township men face several drug charges following a bust in a North Beverwyck Road parking lot last month, said Wednesday.

Ali Hakimi, 22, was charged with possession of 20 Oxycodone pills without a valid prescription, possession of narcotics with the intent to distribute and possession of narcotics with the intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of school (Lake Hiawatha Elementary School). He was transported to headquarters for processing before being turned over to the Morris County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.

Daryl Rinaldi, 21, was charged with possession of three small Ziplock bags of crack cocaine, posession of 20 Oxycodone pills with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported to police headquarters for processing before being turned over to the Morris County Jail in lieu of $75,000 bail.

Anthony Mariano, 20, was charged with possession of one Oxycodone pill without a valid prescription. He was transported to police headquarters for processing and released pending a court appearance.

Det. Edward Conklin and Det./Sgt. Brian Dowd made the arrests following a motor vehicle stop April 18 in the parking lot of 430 N. Beverwyck Road at about 10:30 p.m., police said. The stop was "initiated subsequent to an ongoing investigation into the sale of narcotics in the township," police said.
