Car Crashes Through Parsippany Storefront

No injuries reported after a Ford SUV jumped the curb and struck a building, police said.

No one was injured after a car jumped a curb and drove into a building on Parsippany Road, police said.

Officer Brian Conover was called to The Laundry at 5:47 a.m. Aug 3 on a report of a car crashing into a building.

“Upon his arrival, Officer Conover observed a tan Ford sport utility vehicle which had jumped the curb and struck the front of The Laundry,” said Parsippany Community Relations Officer Earl Kinsey.

“The vehicle pushed the bottom of the front wall into the store approximately one foot and broke the glass.”

The driver was uninjured, he added.

The front window was temporarily boarded up by Parsippany Rescue and Recovery and the building was deemed safe by the Township of Parsippany Building Department.
