The Parsippany Police Department is looking to the public for information regarding multiple car burglaries in the same area.

There were two apparent car burglaries and a theft from a local fitness club, one occurring on May 25 and the other on June 12, according to police.

“On May 25, at approximately 10 a.m., a gym member went to retrieve car keys from an unlocked locker and discovered that the keys were missing,” said Parsippany Police Sgt. Yvonne Christano. “It was discovered that the victim’s 2007 Lexus had been burglarized and a wallet containing cash, a credit card and debit cards was taken from the center console.”

The credit card was then used at a local supermarket, she said.

In a similar incident, a gym member left car keys in an unlocked locker at the same location. The member discovered that a Galaxy SIII phone and a wallet containing cash, credit and debit cards were taken out of their 2011 GMC that was parked in the fitness club parking lot.

Police have photos of two individuals believed to have been involved, as taken from store security cameras.
