Child Porn Distribution Gets Parsippany Man 5 Years

69-year-old Lake Hiawatha resident also sentenced to five years of supervised release.

A Lake Hiawatha man was sentenced Tuesday to five years in prison for distribution of child pornography, the U.S. Attorney's Office said.

Charles Dolick, 69, had previously pled guilty to distributing more than 600 images of child pornography through a "peer-to-peer file network" in September 2010, U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman said.

The images and videos distributed included young children engaging in sexual contact and relations with other children and adults, the U.S. Attorney's Office said.

Dolick admitted he had collected the child pornography for approximately 17 years, the U.S. Attorney's Office said.

In addition to 61 months in prison, Dolick was also sentenced to five years of supervised released and was ordered to pay $3,500 in restitution to one of his victims, the U.S. Attorney's Office said.

Dolick agreed as part of his plea agreement to forfeit his computer, hard drive and other electronic storage he had used to collect the child pornography, the U.S. Attorney's Office said.
