Cops: Man Blocking Traffic Had Outstanding Warrant

The following arrest information was supplied by the Parsippany Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A Bloomfield man who was blocking traffic on New Road Monday night was discovered to have an outstanding warrant, the  said.

Jimmy Brash, 37, was placed in the custody of the Bloomfield Police Department after being arrested Monday night in Parsippany.

According to police, Officer Robert Smolen saw a green 2005 Chrysler standing in the way of traffic in the southbound lane of New Road at about 7:25 p.m.

Police said Smolen discovered that Brash had a suspended driver's license—and an active warrant for $1,973 out of Bloomfield.

Brash was arrested and was issued summonses for obstructing a public passageway and driving while suspended.

It was not known what the outstanding Bloomfield warrant was.
