No Injuries in Early Morning Garage Fire

Fire Districts 3 and 6 were called to Littleton Road after 3 a.m. Thursday for a garage fire.

Parsippany firefighters were called to a Littleton Road home in the pre-dawn hours of Thursday morning after a garage caught on fire, according to a recent report.

Fire Districts 3 and 6, along with Parsippany police, arrived at the home after 3 a.m. Thursday on a report of a structure fire, Parsippany Police Sgt. Yvonne Christiano told nj.com.

A neighbor was woken up from a loud noise in the backyard and called police.

The garage, which was detached from the home, was smoking with visible flames from the rooftop, said Christiano.

Firefighters were quickly able to extinguish the fire and there were no injuries, she said.

Morris County Sheriff's Department Criminal Investigators and Parsippany Police Arson Investigator David Cavaliere also responded. The fire does not appear to be suspicious, said Christiano.
