Driver Seriously Injured After Monday Night Crash

A man sustained life-threatening injuries after crashing into a tree on Interpace Parkway.

Parsippany Police are investigating a Monday night crash which left a man in critical condition.

The identity of the driver has not been released by police.

At 7:38 p.m. on Monday, emergency responders were called to a serious crash on Interpace Parkway near where it intersects with Cherry Hill Road, Ptl. Earl Kinsey said. The man was driving a 2002 blue Ford Focus when he left the roadway and struck a tree, police said.

“Parsippany Rescue and Recovery extricated the severely injured driver from the vehicle before turning his care over to Parsippany Volunteer Ambulance and St. Clare’s Paramedics,” police said.

The driver was taken to Morristown Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. The Parsippany Police Department is investigating the cause of the accident.
