Harrison Woman Nabbed for Traffic Offenses, Outstanding Warrants

A Harrison woman was arrested on outstanding warrants and given summonses for alleged traffic offenses Friday afternoon, say Parsippany Police.

According to department spokesperson Ptlm. Earl Kinsey, Officer Paul Levi conducted a random license check of a vehicle driving along New Road in Parsippany and noticed that her license was suspended. 

Levi reportedly was able to pull over the driver, 35-year-old Fernanda Dejesus, on Chapin Road in Montville.

There, police said he discovered that in addition to the suspended license, Dejesus had two outstanding arrest warrants totalling $257, one each from the Harrison Municipal Court and the Clifton Municipal Court. 

Dejesus was placed under arrest and later was released pending appearances in court in Clifton and Harrison. She also received summonses for the suspended license and for having an expired inspection sticker.
