Hills High Senior Accused of Forcing Girl, 17, Into Sexual Act

Swim team member out on bail, not allowed to return to school, report says.

One of Parsippany Hills High School’s seniors and swim team members has been charged with sexual assault by force after he allegedly forced a 17-year-old girl to perform a sex act on him.

That accusation, along with an endangering the welfare of a child charge, was lodged against Nicholas Pachiolo by the Parsippany Police, according to a dailyrecord.com report.

The alleged incident occurred on Feb. 12 – off school grounds, the report said – just two days after Pachiolo turned 18. An original bail amount of $100,000 was reduced to $50,000 by Judge Mary Gibbons Whipple Tuesday, the report said.

Pachiolo’s family posted bail and the teen was released from jail.

The student is currently not allowed to return to school, unable to participate in school activities, and can’t have contact with the accuser, the report said.

Pachiolo’s lawyer, Charles Sciarra, said in a statement the two teens’ relationship is described as “friends with benefits.”
