Khalil Survey was found with more than 46,000 child pornography images in 2011.

A Lake Hiawatha man who authorities say on his electronic devices was sentenced to 140 months in prison on Wednesday, according to U.S. Attorney Paul Fishman.

Khalil Survey, 39, pleaded guilty in January to one count of child porn possession and one count of distributing pornography over the Internet. In addition to the prison sentence, Survey was sentenced to lifetime probation and ordered to pay $300,000 in restitution to victims.

Survey's home was searched on August 4, 2011 by the Department of Homeland Security. Inside, authorities seized an iPhone, computer and several electronic devices which had images of child sexual abuse, Fishman said, including 46,353 child pornography images, 983 images with infants or toddlers and 783 images that depicted sadomasochistic abuse. Additionally, Fishman said Survey had taken photos of himself downloading child pornography onto his computer using his iPhone.
