Lake Hiawatha, Boonton Men Found With 'POISON' Heroin, Cops Say

Randy Fleming, 19, of Boonton and Bryan Tauro, 19 of Lake Hiawatha were arrested after police found 22 bags of heroin labeled 'Blue Magic' and 'POISON.'

Two men were arrested on heroin possession charges after Parsippany police officers said they observed suspicious behavior at a park, police said.

Officers saw four men standing near a car parked in a lot at a park on Sunday, Aug. 4 at 6:31 p.m. Three of the men were leaning into the passenger side and reachng into the center console, said Parsippany Community Relations Officer Earl Kinsey.

“As the officers approached the males, the individuals began walking away from the vehicle,” he said.

The officers found 22 folds of heroin with the labels “Blue Magic” and “POISON,” said Kinsey.

Randy Fleming, 19, of Boonton was arrested on a charge of possession of heroin and Bryan Tauro, 19, of Lake Hiawatha was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Tauro had a dollar bill rolled with a rubber band containing white powdery residue, said Kinsey.

Both were processed at police headquarters and released pending a court appearance.
