Lake Hiawatha Man Admits to Burglary, Gets 3 Years Probation
Justin Hoffer committed crime in Byram Twp. in 2013, report says.
A Lake Hiawatha man was sentenced to three years probation recently after he admitted to burglary, among other offenses.
Justin Hoffer, 26, was sentenced in Sussex County Courthouse in Newton after pleading guilty to third-degree burglary, fourth-degree criminal mischief, fourth-degree stalking, and fourth-degree contempt.
Police responded to a Byram Township home in May 2013 for a reported burglary and subsequently arrested Hoffer, according to TAP Hopatcong.

An investigation revealed Hoffer entered the victim’s residence, damaged property, entered the victim’s car and removed property from the vehicle, causing further damage in the process, the report said.
