Large Natural Gas Leak Evacuates Sedgefield Area
Mandatory evacuations took place on Devon and Exeter streets between Dartford Road and Sedgefield Drive Friday morning.
Parsippany Police evacuated the Sedgefield area of town Friday morning due to a "large natural gas leak."
Evacuations were mandatory between Devon and Exeter streets between Dartford Road and Sedgefield Drive, according to a police alert released shortly before 9 a.m. Friday.
The gas was eventually shut off and residents were able to return to their homes roughly an hour later. No injuries have been reported.
