Late-Night Fire Hits Edgefield Drive Home
Police say there was minimal damage to the dwelling.
The reports a structure fire at an Edgefield Drive residence late Wednesday night started in a clothes dryer and caused minimal damage.
According to PPD spokesperson Sgt. Yvonne Christiano, , the Greystone Fire Department and Ambulance Squad responded to the scene just after 11 p.m. Wednesday, along with Parsippany Police officers.
Christiano said the blaze started when a dryer in the home’s basement caught fire. Members of Fire District 1 quickly extinguished the fire and deemed the scene to be safe.

No injuries were reported in the incident.
Other than the dryer, police said, there was no other damage to the home.
