Cops: Man Found With Heroin, Crack Cocaine

The following arrest information was supplied by the Parsippany Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A 37-year-old Ledgewood man was arrested in the township after being found in possession of heroin and crack cocaine Tuesday night, according to the .

Police said officers Jason Ferreira and Michelle Kardos conducted a motor vehicle stop in the parking lot of 350 New Road shortly after 8 p.m. and came in contact with Arthur Nadeau, of Ledgewood.

A random check of the vehicle’s license plate revealed that Nadeau was driving with a suspended license, police said. He was also found to have an active arrest warrant issued for him out of Mendham Township, police said.

After a brief investigation, according to Officer Earl Kinsey, the officers found four bags of heroin, a vial of crack cocaine and a hypodermic syringe in Nadeau's possession.

Nadeau was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and turned over to the Dover Police Department on an arrest warrant issued by the Dover Municipal Court.
