Parsippany Police are looking for a man wanted for robbing two individuals at gunpoint on Bridgeton Drive early Saturday morning.

The alleged robber is described as a black man approximately 5-foot-6 with a medium build who was wearing a black cap and dark-colored clothing, Officer Earl Kinsey said in a statement released Wednesday.

According to one of the victims, the alleged bandit walked up to him and another man and asked for a cigarette at about 2:15 a.m. Saturday.

"When one of the men reached for a cigarette, the black male reportedly pulled out a handgun and demanded their wallets and cell phones," Kinsey said. "The two males put the items on the ground and backed away. The black male then picked up the items and fled the area on foot up Bridgeton before running down Canton Road. The two males lost sight of him at this time."

The statement listed the monetary value of the items stolen as being more than $800.
