Police are investigating a second incident of copper being stolen from another Verizon wireless cell tower.

When Parsippany police Officer Robert Appel got to the tower on Route 10, an employee told him that a copper ground bar and five ground cables were stolen—a total value of $1,200, according to a release from Officer Remo D’Alessandro, community relations officer.

Last week, police responded to a Verizon cell tower on Parsippany Boulevard where $800 worth of copper was stolen.
