Multiple Parsippany Cars Burglarized in Residential Area

Incidents happened during the same time frame and neighborhood, but police are unsure if they are all connected.

Police are investigating several car burglaries in a residential community near Route 10 and Tabor Road, Parsippany Police said.

Patrol Officer Thomas Armenti arrived to Mountain Club because of two car burglaries that happened sometime between 10 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. Monday.

One woman said a $200 Garmin GPS was stolen from her 2002 Silver Saturn that may have been unlocked. There were no signs of forced entry, police said.

A man said a Dell Laptop and Apple iPad—totaling $700—was stolen from his 2005 Green Accura. It appeared the car’s back passenger handle was tampered with, according to a release from Officer Remo D’Alessandro.

Armenti went on Monday to a home on Patriots Road where a woman said someone went into her 2011 Silver Chevy vehicle overnight and stole five or six CDs and a pair of binoculars, a total value $200. The car was unlocked and there was no forced entry, according to the release.

Police said these car burglaries happened during the same time frame, and nearby, but they are not sure if the incidents are related.
