No Injuries in Lake Hiawatha House Fire, Police Say

Multiple agencies responded as blaze quickly knocked down.

No one was injured in a residential fire early Tuesday evening on Minnehaha Boulevard in Lake Hiawatha.

Parsippany Police, Lake Hiawatha Volunteer Fire District 4 and other emergency agencies also responded to the scene.

District 4 officials said the fire, reported shortly after 4:30 p.m., was brought under control and extinguished rapidly.

A Parsippany Police spokesman said there were no injuries from the blaze, as the home was evacuated. He added that a probe into the cause in underway and that an arson investigator is en route to the scene.

Boonton's Fast Team also responded to the house fire, police said.
