No Serious Injuries, But Traffic Delays After 2-Car Crash on Smith Road

Police say both cars had to be towed from the scene near the Sheraton Hotel.

Parsippany Police say a motor vehicle collision involving two cars this afternoon is responsible for snarled rush hour traffic in the area surrounding Smith Road near the Sheraton Hotel.

Police said the crash occurred shortly before 4 p.m. Department spokesperson Ptlm. Earl Kinsey reported no serious inuries in the accident, but said both vehicles sustained enough damage that they had to be towed from the scene.

Traffic, though still busy, is normalizing at press time.
