Owner Reunites with Dog Before Snowstorm Hits

Parsippany Animal Control picked up the husky on Thursday afternoon.

With the incoming storm on Thursday, a lost dog was found by animal control, but his owner claimed him before the snow started getting worse.

Parsippany Animal Control picked up this male husky Thursday afternoon on Carlton Drive and was looking for the owner.

He was "wearing a plastic prong collar with no tags. Not microchipped either" but later that same day, he was reunited with his owner, according to Parsippany Police Department.

Glad the owner got him back, hope he will microchip him or at least get him an id for his collar.

Horrible feeling loosing a pet. Glad to hear owner was found. The town should have forced registration of the dog now, which would include proof of rabies vac. And get your dogs microchipped! Its cheap and assures he wont get put down at a shelter that cant find an owner.!
