Par-Troy Man Faces Drug Paraphernalia Charge

report a 22-year-old Parsippany man was arrested after being found with suspected marijuana cigarettes and related materials early Monday.
Bryan A. Merida faces a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a police report.
Police said Sgt. Thomas Pomroy saw a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on North Beverwyck Road at about 12:30 a.m.

After stopping the vehicle at Norman Avenue, the officer reportedly discovered rolling papers, hollowed-out cigar wrappers and two hand-rolled cigarettes containing suspect marijuana in the vehicle.
Police said in addition to being charged, Merida was issued a summons for reckless driving.

He was released from the scene pending a court date, according to police.
