Detectives had learned Ward was selling large amounts of cocaine from his Alba Place home in Parsippany about two years ago. Between March 14, 2011, and May 21, 2011, Ward had worked with another man, acting as a supplier, to distribute cocaine.

An undercover detective from the New Jersey Division of Criminal Justice Gangs and Organized Crime made seven purchases from Ward amounting to more than three ounces of cocaine, the release said. Ward was arrested and charged on June 1, 2011.
