Officer Alfred Keiser was patrolling the Vail Road area on Saturday a little after 4 a.m. when he saw a man, later identified as Comtess, wearing dark clothing walking between parked vehicles at a Vail Road residence, according to a release from Officer Remo D’Alessandro, community relations officer.

Keiser approached Comtess and asked if he lived there. Comtess said no and “alleged that he was looking for keys that he lost while walking,” according to the release.
