Parsippany Man Accused of Injecting Self With Heroin in CVS Bathroom

Salvatore Nocera was in store attempting to return stolen goods, report says.

What began as an alleged attempt to return stolen goods at a CVS store by a Parsippany resident turned into an arrest for heroin possession.

According to dailyrecord.com, Salvatore Nocera, 33, was found just before midnight Tuesday injecting heroin into his arm with a hypodermic needle in the bathroom of a Denville CVS.

Nocera was in the store originally because he tried to return stolen goods, a manager told police, according to the report. During the transaction, Nocera left the counter and headed to the bathroom, and that’s when police were notified.
