The Parsippany-Troy Hills Police Department has released new photos of a suspect sought in connection with car burglaries and a theft from a local fitness club.

One burglary occurred on May 25 with the other on June 12, police said.

In both instances, car keys were removed from unlocked lockers at LA Fitness in Parsippany. Credit cards were taken from two cars and were used at local grocery stores.

"On May 25, at approximately 10 a.m., a gym member went to retrieve car keys from an unlocked locker and discovered that the keys were missing,” said Parsippany Police Sgt. Yvonne Christano. “It was discovered that the victim’s 2007 Lexus had been burglarized and a wallet containing cash, a credit card and debit cards was taken from the center console.”

The credit card was then used at a local supermarket, she said.

In a similar incident, a gym member left car keys in an unlocked locker at the same location. The member discovered that a Galaxy SIII phone and a wallet containing cash, credit and debit cards were taken out of their 2011 GMC that was parked in the fitness club parking lot.

The credit cards were used successfully at a Parsippany Pathmark. An attempt to use the cards was denied later at an A&P in Denville.

Anyone with information regarding these incidents is asked to contact Detective Joseph Puso at jpuso@parpolice.com or (973) 263-4315.
