Police: Apartments, Home Found Burglarized

Mount Tabor home and two apartments on Baldwin Road broken into over the past week.

One home and two Parsippany apartments were burglarized during the past week, police said Tuesday.

According to a statement released by the , a Mount Tabor resident returned home Monday afternoon and found items out of place and a jewelry box stolen from the master bedroom of the Strowbridge Avenue residence.

The estimated value of the items taken was not immediately known, police said. Entry was likely gained through the front door, police said.

Break-ins to the Baldwin Manor Apartments and the Dartmouth Village Apartments on Baldwin Road were reported late last week, police said.

According to police, a Baldwin Manor resident returned home after being out for two hours and found the rear door that leads to a balcony off the apartment was forced open. The incident was reported Friday shortly before 10 p.m. Nothing was reported missing, police said.

A Dartmouth Village resident returned home after being out for about seven hours Saturday at about 1:25 a.m., and found "contents of the apartment to be in disarray," police said. Entry appeared to be gained through a back window, police said. Nothing of value was reported stolen, police said.
