Police Charge Parsippany Man With Drug Possession Following Alleged Fight

Resident allegedly had two kinds of oxycodone, along with cocaine, in Towaco.

Donald Farrand, 30, of Parsippany was arrested early Saturday morning and charged with three counts of drug possession, two counts of disorderly conduct, and obstruction after police responded to a call of individuals fighting in the roadway at Washington Court in Towaco, Montville Township police said.

According to Sgt. Mark Olsson, officers Keith Donnelly, Jason Blustein and George Quentz arrived on the scene at 6:49 a.m. and found Farrand, who was allegedly acting “very disorderly,” according to police.

The officers made the arrest after finding cocaine and two types of oxycodone on Farrand, and charged him with possession of cocaine, two counts of possession of oxycodone, one charge of obstruction, and two counts of disorderly conduct.

Farrand’s bail was set at $25,000 and he is currently detained at the Montville Police Department, Olsson said.
