Police: Cigars, Cigarettes Stolen from Gas Station

The following information was supplied by the Parsippany Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

 

The Parsippany Police Department reports an unknown quantity of cigars and cigarettes were stolen in a smash and grab at the gas station on East Halsey Road Nov. 11.

An activated burglar alarm brought officers to the scene at 499 E. Halsey Rd., where police said the glass door had been smashed. Parsippany detectives and an investigator from the Morris County Sheriff’s Department Criminal Investigative Section also responded.

Police said the suspect or suspects got away with a number of packs of cigarettes and cigars.

An investigation into the burglary continues, police said.
