More Police Expected at Parsippany Theater for Batman Movie

Measures taken after deadly shooting in Colorado.

There will be an increased police presence Friday at Parsippany's , which is showing the new Batman blockbuster "The Dark Knight Rises," according to Chief Anthony DeZenzo.

Police are taking precautions in the aftermath of a gunman opening fire and killing 12 early Friday morning at a movie theater screening of the new Batman movie in Aurora, Colo, police said.

DeZenzo said additional patrols will be dispatched to the local Clearview at 3165 Route 46.

In addition to those killed, 59 people were wounded, including a . 

The final film in the Batman series starring actor Christian Bale as the caped crusader will screen at the Par-Troy Clearview Friday evening at 6, 6:50, 7:40, 8:40, 9:30, 10:20 and 11 p.m.
