Police: Homeowner Hears Garage Door Open, Sees Suspects Flee Down Street

Burglary attempt thwarted on Raymond Boulevard.

After hearing the home's garage door open, a Raymond Boulevard resident witnessed two apparent suspects running down the street during the early-morning hours Sunday, said Wednesday.

According to a report released by Sgt. Yvonne Christiano, the homeowner heard the garage door open at about 4:35 a.m. The resident then looked out the window and saw two individuals fleeing toward a parked vehicle down the street. No description of the suspects was able to be provided, Christiano said.

The homeowner's vehicle was unlocked and parked in the driveway, Christiano said. The garage door opener was inside the vehicle and used to open the door, but no items were stolen from the home, Christiano said.
