Police: Intoxicated Man Found Asleep Behind the Wheel on Route 46

Police make four DWI arrests on Saturday and Sunday.

A Pennsylvania man was charged with DWI after he was found asleep inside his vehicle at the intersection of Route 46 and Waterview Boulevard Saturday night, said.

Michael Pisoli, 26, of Forest City, Pa., was charged with DWI, careless driving refusal to submit to an Alcotest Analysis and possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, police said.

Parsippany Police made three other DWI arrests over the weekend.

Gregory Coll, 41, of Parsippany, was charged with DWI and careless driving after Officer Peter Kolln responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident at a parking lot on North Beverwyck Road Sunday night at about 11:20 p.m., police said.

According to police, Croll's vehicle had struck a curb and knocked down a sign in the parking lot before stopping on the roadway. Croll was transported to police headquarters for processing before being released pending a court appearance.

Police also arrested Michael Magnifico, 22, of East Hanover, after Officer David Cavaliere conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 46 early Sunday morning at about 4:25 a.m.

Cavaliere determined Magnifico was allegedly under the influence of alcohol, police said. Magnifico was charged with DWI and possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle. 

A 17-year-old Parsippany teen was also charged with DWI after his vehicle struck a parked vehicle on Alexander Avenue Sunday at about 12:10 a.m., police said.

The teen was charged with DWI, careless driving and driving after 11 p.m. with a probationary license before he was released to the custody of his father, police said.
