Anyone with information about either incident is asked to call police; all suspects are innocent until proven guilty.

The Parsippany-Troy Hills Police Department is investigating a reported  attempted robbery at a home on Edwards Road Thursday afternoon.

Police said residents at the house told officers that someone rang their doorbell, but that they did not answer their door. One resident was in the bathroom and reported seeing a man standing on the rear deck of the home opening the bathroom window with a screwdriver. The suspect fled upon seeing the resident, reportedly going to the front of the house and taking off on a black "Harley style" motorcycle.

The suspect was described as a white man of medium height and build wearing a blue short sleeved shirt, dark pants, black boots and black gloves.

In another case, L.A. Fitness at 1159 Route 46 was the scene of two reported locker thefts Friday afternoon.
