Police Seek Two Men for Early-Morning Gas Station Robbery

Suspects accused of stealing $200 from attendant.

Parsippany Police are looking for two men who allegedly robbed a Shell service station attendant at Route 46 and Cherry Hill Road early Wednesday morning.

Ptlm. Earl Kinsey said officers responded to a call regarding a robbery at 12:21 a.m.

A station attendant told police that two men walked up to the attendant booth. One requested change for a $20 bill. The other suspect reportedly asked to use the telephone. According to police, as the attendant reached for a phone, the first man reached into the attendant’s pocket and grabbed the bill roll he used to give customers change.

The suspects ran westward, having nabbed approximately $200. Police believe the pair fled in a vehicle parked nearby.

One of the suspects is described as a white male, 5-foot-8 with a thin build who was wearing a white T-shirt. His alleged accomplice is described as a black male also about 5-foot-8 with a thin build who was wearing a long-sleeved white shirt with vertical and horizontal stripes.
